Press release on Maritime racing hopeful Michael Broderick

From Kimberley L. Powell

MAKE WAY FOR MICHAEL BRODERICK!
There’s no debating that 16 year old Michael Broderick is a driven, young man. Born in Sydney Nova Scotia, Michael now resides in Moncton, New Brunswick where he is anxious to show the world what his family members already know: this kid can drive a race car!

Driving the #3 in the Thundercat Series, this Bernice MacNaughton High School Student’s first taste of stock car racing earned him eight top-ten finishes & eighth in the overall points standings. Scoring a ninth place finish in the season opener, the 2007 calendar year presented Michael with the tremendous opportunirty to further enhance his driving abilities, gain valuable seat time & prove to the racing world that he’s a talented young race car driver who’s ready to take his racing career to the next level.

With future aspirations of driving in the NASCAR Busch Series (NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2008), Michael hopes to attract the attention of team owners looking to sign a young Canadian with a strong desire to be a competitive driver & a positive spokesperson for the sport.

The entire Broderick team wishes to thank BarnYard BBQ for their financial support throughout the 2007 race season. The team is, however, actively seeking sponsor support to help continue the growth & development of a competitive race team for the 2008 race season. Any financial support from local business merchants would be warmly welcomed.

Michael’s greatest supporters are his family members. Whether it was hard at work in the pits or offering Michael words of encouragement, Michael’s family always managed to keep team spirit high in the #3 BarnYard BBQ pit.

If you haven’t heard of the name Michael Broderick, let me assure you that you will by the end of 2008. Coupled with his eagerness to learn & his strong devotion to the sport, the stage is set for an exciting 2008 race season. With one season already under his belt, fans have plenty to look forward to as Michael looks to contend for a championship in the Thundercat Series.
