Amsterdam, The Netherlands (December 09, 2008) – TW Steel will launch into 2009 as an official event sponsor to the ‘Toyo Tires 24 Hours of Dubai’, hosted at the Dubai Autodrome in the United Arab Emirates, Friday 9th – Saturday 10th January 2009.
The twice around the clock endurance race has rapidly established itself as a key fixture in the Middle East racing calendar with the 5.39km Dubai Autodrome expected to see up to 90 cars entered representing a truly international field of professional and semi-pro teams and drivers – last year’s endurance spectacular witnessing 35 nations represented on the starting grid.
To celebrate its involvement in the ’24 Hours of Dubai’, TW Steel has produced a limited edition ’24 Hour Series’ watch, the TW800. Just 1750 have been produced with the watch based on the highly successful TW11 model.
The 50mm case, made from high grade steel and water resistant to 100 meters, is 15mm thick housing a precise quartz chronograph movement. With the TW800 upholding TW Steel’s ability to deliver unique design with advanced technology, added features include fast date adjustment and a stylish calf leather strap with distinctive orange stitching.
