Wet & Wild Mid-Ohio Scores i-MOTO a Strong 2nd – 5th Place Team Finish

LEXINGTON, OH. – When they say “rubbing racing” the 2008 Koni Challenge of Mid Ohio took the term to a new level. Both of the Team i-MOTO cars driving by Nick Wittmer and Glenn Bocchino (piloting the 31# Acura TSX) and Kuno Wittmer and Peter Cunningham (piloting the 32# Acura TSX) survive multiple body and suspension damage for a strong team finish.

The i-MOTO teammates Kuno Wittmer and Peter Cunningham finishing a dominant second place, while Nick Wittmer and Glenn Bocchino a strong fifth place finish.

From the first lap to the last lap the team i-MOTO cars were punted, bumped and pushed of course mores times at this race then all combined races last year! With body damage and bent suspensions on both cars, i-MOTO showed the Koni-Challenge ST class why they are the benchmark of the series. With flawless pit stops, heroic driving and the teams “never give up attitude” i-MOTO fought back to the front once again.

The mixed conditions of a dry, damp and wet track made for an entertaining race for the drivers and spectators. The i-MOTO teammates Kuno Wittmer, Peter Cunningham, Nick Wittmer and Glenn Bocchino all agree it was a challenging but fun race! Team owner Glenn Bocchino stated when the weather conditions throw us a curve ball, the i-MOTO team is always prepared to hit it out of the ball-park!
