Pfaff Partners with Marcelli for Inaugural Mosport ALMS Event

Barrie, Ontario (August 12th 2008) – Pfaff Automotive Partners, widely recognized as one of Canada’s premier automotive retail groups continues its support in the world of Motorsports.  For 2008, Pfaff will be partnering with one of Canada’s young rising talents Kyle Marcelli for the American LeMans Series weekend at Mosport International Raceway August 21st to 24th.

 

 The event at Mosport International Raceway kicks off the 21st of August with the promoters test day. Marcelli will be on track twice for two 35 min sessions. Friday is official testing where Marcelli and the US F2000 Championship Series hit’s the track again for two more 35 min sessions in preparation for Saturday morning qualifying. Saturday and Sunday are race days!

 

 Arriving at the fast 2.5 mile Canadian circuit, Marcelli currently sits 2nd in the overall championship standings. Having a rough start to his season due to some bad luck in Road Atlanta the talented race car driver from Barrie, Ontario has went on to post five podium finishes in the last six races accelerating him back into the hunt for the championship  title. Marcelli will be looking forward to placing his Pfaff supported Van Diemen F2000 back into victory circle, this time back home at Mosport International Raceway.
