Shediac - CFS wishes to inform race fans that, due to a reduced car count, this Sunday's Super Modifieds event has been cancelled. Both Lee and CFS officials agreed to cancel the event in light of high gas prices and conflicting events in New England.
Originally 14 cars were expected however that number has been reduced in recent weeks to an expectation of between 6 and 8. There will be no racing at CFS this weekend and the Points Championship Final will now be held on Sept 28th at 2 PM. Fans looking for a big event this weekend are encouraged to visit Riverside Speedway in James River where the NASCAR Canada Series will be running.
