Lincoln Electric Canada returns to 2008 Speedorama Custom Car Show

TORONTO, ON - Ladies and gentlemen, rev up your engines! Lincoln Electric Company of Canada returns to the 2008's Speedorama Custom Car Show, being held February 8th, 9th, 10th at the Automotive Building, Exhibition Place, Toronto. Lincoln's 1953 Chevy Hot Rod panel truck will be showcased once again in our Booth# 337.

What makes the Hot Rod unique is that it is completely outfitted to be used as a welding demonstration truck. It comes equipped to demonstrate TIG, MIG, stick and flux-cored welding as well as plasma cutting. Lincoln Electric has two other Mobile Demonstration Units. This is the first in the Hot Rod style.

Chip Foose, TV host and star of "Overhaulin'" also returns to this year's Speedorama. Lincoln Electric is the "official welder" of Chip Foose's award-winning automotive design and performance company, Foose Design. The rims on the Chevy Hot Rod were designed and produced by Foose Design.

The Hot Rod will be on display at various trade shows in 1Q 2008. On February 29th, March 1st & 2nd, it can be spotted at the Canadian Home Workshop show, Booth# 808, at the Toronto International Centre, Mississauga ( www.canadianhomeworkshop.com/show).

Visit the Lincoln Electric booth at both shows to get an up close and personal look at this classic 1953 Chevy Hot Rod panel truck. At the same time, be sure to try the welding equipment out for yourself and feel free to discuss your welding project with any of our technical sales representatives.
