INSIDE TRACK NOTEBOOK: Wednesday, April 9, 2008

Max Mosley's legal efforts to ban the release of a 5-hour sex orgy featuring the FIA boss and five hookers have failed. The News of the World trumpets its victory here. The site claims, "The clips will shatter Mosley’s claims that there were no Nazi connotations in the marathon sex session."

For his part, Mosley is playing the 'victim' card, claiming in this TSN story that "I was the victim of a disgusting conspiracy.... I think I have done nothing wrong and that the wrong was done by the newspaper. That is why I am suing them." In the same piece, Mosley again contends that the whole notion that his tryst involved a Nazi component is "pure fabrication".

In other news, Paul Tracy has apparently grown tired of waiting for his employer Gerald Forsythe to change his mind and go racing in the unified IndyCar Series. In this Canadian Press story, Tracy is reportedly burning up the phone lines in search of a ride. It appears the relationship between Tracy and Forsythe has deteriorated considerably in recent months. In this TSN story, PT's lawyer reportedly sent a document to Forsythe "detailing the contract violations (by Forsythe) and stating their (Tracy's) intention to move on."

Let's hope something happens quickly for Tracy as everyone - even Tony George - agrees 'the Thrill' should be racing.
