TORONTO, April 16, 2008. JL Racing today announced a new partnership with Quarter Master Industries who is an industry leader in driveline components for the racing community. Quarter Master are looking to expand their line of clutches to the road racing market. Through their Saab motorsport program, JL Racing will aid in product and marketing development for Quarter Master and provide technical feedback for the ECOTEC platform.
Quarter Master development will focus on JL Racing's Saab ECOTEC engines in a road racing environment and the company are currently building clutch packs and flywheels specifically for the JL Racing Saab 9-3 Super Touring cars. These high-performance clutches incorporate the latest technology and are designed to withstand the extreme environment of road racing. Quarter Master are also developing another performance clutch for the Saab 9-3 which will be available for street applications.
